Today, Ministry of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture Minister, Hon. Lt. Gen (Rtd). Amb. A.N Sanyatwe accompanied the Chitungwiza Harmony Singers and Light Machine Machine Gun (LMG) Choir to State House to meet His Excellency the President, Dr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa where the two choirs were gifted with vehicles.
Chitungwiza Harmony Singers received a twin cab vehicle for their Choir Master and a 25 seater minibus whilst LMG Choir got a 15 seater minbus.
The event was graced by the Chief Secretary Dr. Rushwaya, Deputy Chief Secretary Rev. P.B Damasane, Deputy Minister Hon Emily Jesaya , the Permanent Secretary Mr. Nicholas Moyo, National Arts Council of Zimbabwe – NACZ CEO Mr. N. Nyanhi among others.
The Ministry would like to thank H.E President E.D Mnangagwa for his continued support towards the creative and cultural industries.
